Germany: WWII Volkswagen Factory helmet

Very nice luftschutz style helmet made for the defense of the Volkswagen plants. Black overall paint with some tiny traces of red underlay.  VW decals on both sides, Factory safety decal on rear lip.  Liner original, chinstrap replaced at some time but well worn.  A really rare helmet anymore.  I've seen a lot more SS helmets than one of these!
