Ivory handled War of 1812 Cavalry sabre for an officer.  Large broad blade.  Langet stamped G G.  Blade reportedly manufactured by Thomas Gill 1782-1801 Birmingham, England, probably remounted during the later 1812 ..  Quite possibly US usage.  Massive sword.  Excellent blade and fittings with one period repair.  No scabbard.
